When most people think of Marvel heroes and villains, they think of Spider-Man, Thor, Hulk and Green Goblin. This blog is going to inform you of characters within the universe that not many people are familiar with.
My first character I will talk to you about is a female superhero known as Jessica Jones. Many people are not unfamiliar with this heroine even though in my opinion she is one of the best.
Jessica Jones first appeared in Alias #1 in 2001 and was created by notorious writer Brian Michael Bendis. She is situated in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. After her parents crashed their car into a military truck, Jessica was soaked into radioactive chemicals giving her extra-ordinary abilities such as super human strength, durability and also low levels of flight. Jessica Jones is a failed superhero that has now turned to the life of a Private Investigator offering her services to people in need in exchange for money.
One of her most famous storylines is Alias. Alias takes place after Jessica's failed attempt at been a superhero and she is now a Private Investigator. This storyline shows her to be somewhat broken after a traumatic experience with sadistic villain Zebediah Killgrave AKA, The Purple Man.
